Akhil is an undergraduate student at the Georgia Institute of Technology pursuing a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. His research interests include multimodal machine learning and computer vision. At the ViTAL Lab, he works on applying machine learning to conversational audio data to study behavioral patterns associated with autism. He is especially interested in how models can combine multiple forms of data, learn robust representations, and translate frontier AI research into practical tools for healthcare and other applications.
